On 28 June 2008 our intrepid members took part in the "Walk a Mile for Myeloma" in Heaton Park.

"This year we were lucky with the weather. It started to rain about 2.30 and I thought, not again,
however it only lasted a couple of minutes and the sun came back out. It was lovely and warm too.

We had a picnic at the end including these gingerbreads designed by a friend of my daughter.
She made them all & her company kindly donated these & other goodies for our picnic." - Joan (Secretary)
